Which Is The Easiest Yet Most Respectable Way To Become Rich?

Hi,

I am not rich yet. So the answer is based on my little experience in running a company, reading about successful people and learning from their experiences and stories. Let’s say you want to become a millionaire.

Now, I strongly feel this,

The More You Give, The More You Get

So if you desire a million dollars for yourself, you will have to help a million people get what they want. How can you do that?

Find what you are good at. Find your strengths. What industry are you most passionate about?

Once you Zero down on the industry that you want to be a part of and help people in, then figure this out.

Do you want to open a company or do a job?

It’s very tough to become a millionaire when you are working for someone else. However, one of my family members has a salary package that few have. And if he spends his money frugally, I am sure he will be a millionaire in a few years’ time.

The other thing you can do is start a company. Figure out the biggest problem(s) people are facing in your industry. And then create a product/service that is much, much better than what is out there in the market.

In the words of Elon Musk

“Your products need to be at least 9 times better than your competitors. You have given them enough reason to switch to your products.”

This can take you from anything 5-15 years, maybe even more. During this time, you will face criticism, especially from your near and dear ones; you will fail, and you will cry. You will be on the verge of giving up many times.

Your relationships will suck, your marriage may not work, and you will have to work from the moment you wake till late at night, 6–7 days a week, 365 days a year. Your best people will leave your company to start their own.

But what will keep you going is the firm faith you have in yourself and the grand vision you have for yourself and for your company.

I think this is the easiest and the most respectful way to become rich. And when you become rich (maybe very rich), you will realize it was not about the money in the first place, but instead, it would be about:

The lives you and your company will transform. It would be about the people that you work with, about forging meaningful and lasting relationships with them and finally,

It would be about the person that you would have become as a result of the hardships and challenges that you have faced! It’s all in the journey and little about the destination 🙂

Good luck!
