What Happens when you eat after 7pm | 3 Bollywood Celebrities Who Eat Early

I don’t look up to Bollywood actors as role models. And honestly, when it comes to health, not many can be considered good role models. However, there are a selected few who seem to walk their talk.
The glow on their face, and their overall healthy signifies that they do indeed follow a healthy lifestyle. I am talking about Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma and Manoj Bajpayee.
Let’s just go through short clips of these actors about their thoughts on eating particularly the time that they eat their last meal.
Shastra means an ancient text/scripture, an example would be Bhagwad Gita or our Vedas.
Akshay is talking about eating your dinner that is your main meal, and is not being strict about eating in general, if you feel hungry you can eat light snack. The digestion can take ever longer depending on how big your meal is and whether it is a non-veg meal or a vegetarian food.
Your gut is like a root of a tree, and to be healthy you do not want it to work 24/7. You want it to rest and if you eat your last meal early, most of the digestion has already happened once you sleep, and the your body can focus on healing. And he is right 100% all diseases begin in the gut.

Anushka started eating her dinner at 5:30pm out of convenience because of her daughter. Her daughter sleeps early and that is the time that she feeds her so might as well eat at the same time and save time. As time is precious. Wise choice Anushka!
You know I have been maintaining a food journal for over a decade now, and it’s very evident that the early I eat better my sleep is, and therefore more rested and fresh I feel in the morning, of course your brain starts to function properly there is no brain fog.
When you eat an early dinner, you reduce the chances of having diseases.
From what Manoj Bajpayee said, in Naturopathy, we know that our body knows how to heal itself. And maximum healing happens at night or during periods of fasting. It takes at least a few hours for the bulk of the digestion to happen, and if you eat an early dinner, you go to bed almost empty stomach which means now that most of the energy is there to support healing.
The second point Manoj mentioned is that he reduced the over-all quantity of food because he likes food. This means that whatever meals that he is consuming he eating to his satisfaction.
For example, when I eat my Indian thali for lunch which is my last meal, it has all my fav foods dal, subzi, buttermilk millet roti and so forth.
My body is getting all the nutrients it needs. And there are no cravings and I am satisfied ..which means there is absolutely no craving for food at night. Which also means and its a very imp point your body crave nutrients and not calories.
You can easily be satisfied with less food provided they are whole nutrient dense foods.
Here’s a summary, I have Made some important notes:
1. The total calories in a day matters. For good health, you should be eating less calories than your body burn, which is scientific term is called TDEE: Total daily energy expenditure. If you eat these many calories you will maintain your weight, if you eat more you will gain weight, and if you eat less you will lose weight. So a caloric deficit is important.
2. It’s important to eat a bulk of your calories after sunrise. Ideal meal framework is to eat a solid breakfast anytime between 8-10am.
Then you can have a snack at 11am like chai or a piece of fruit of some nuts. Then have a solid lunch around 2-3pm.If you don’t prefer to eat at this time, you can have another snack like salad or something light. And then between 5-7pm have your dinner.
Don’t eat anything after 7pm. Do this for 21 days, and measure your sleep.
3. I use a smart ring, you can use a smart watch or an app to measure and track your sleep score. By the way my next video is going to be on night ritual and I will share very important pointers that can significantly boost your sleep quality.
