Easy Way To Reduce Belly Fat

The easy way to reduce belly fat is to follow any diet plan that:

-You can stick with it in the long term.

-You enjoy the foods provided in the diet plan.

-The recipes are tasty and according to your cultural preferences.

-The macros are well balanced i.e. no extreme diets like Atkins, ketogenic etc.

Before I go ahead and give you a 1,800-caloric Simple Vegetarian Diet Plan, let me briefly talk about three approaches that one can adopt when trying to lose fat:

1) The Enjoyable Approach

An enjoyable way to lose weight is to follow the 70/30 diet, where 70% of the calories are coming from healthy foods, whereas 30% of the calories are coming from your favorite cheat foods (pizzas, burgers, ice cream, alcohol and so forth).

Let me illustrate this point better with this table:

Let’s say a beginner who wants to lose weight but has really bad habits and eats almost 50–60% of calories from junk.

As a coach, do you think it’s reasonable enough for me to give him a diet that asks him to completely give up his junk and start eating 5–8 servings of fruits/vegetables plus green tea and daal/roti when he is so used to having butter chicken every day?

I guess he will give up even before he starts!

The enjoyable approach can help anyone who wants to lose weight [fat] but cannot give up their favorite foods [ice creams/pastries/donuts etc]. Don’t believe you can lose weight with this approach?

This guy who lost 56 pounds is eating nothing but McDonald’s. Click on the link and read the entire article. Nia has really nailed it down. You will love the articles, especially if you simply cannot give up eating junk.

I completely agree with her as she says: ‘You gotta meet people where they are.’

Anyone who is not used to eating a single piece of vegetable or fruit, and as a health coach, you are asking them to eat 5-8 servings per day? They will quit even before they start! Start them off slowly by gradually reducing their calories from junk, even if it takes longer for them to achieve their goals.

Here is another example of a professor who lost 27 pounds in 2 months with the Twinkie diet. 2http://edition.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/11/08/twinkie.diet.professor/index.html

The point that I am trying to make here is this: The most important rule when it comes to weight loss is to eat less than your Maintenance calories (TDEE).

This law is foolproof. If you eat less than your body can burn (TDEE), you will lose weight. Even if most of the calories are coming from junk.

I obviously don’t recommend you start with a McDonald’s or a Twinkie diet, but a 70/30 diet plan is something that literally anyone can follow and include in their lifestyle. It’s the best of both worlds.

2) The Realistic & Aggressive Approach

This approach relies on the 80/20 and 90/10 format. Now, let’s look at a 1,800 Caloric Simple Indian Vegetarian Diet Plan that can help you reduce fat.

Do you need more diet plans like these for 1,200/1,800 calories, both non-veg/veg, in easy-to-read formats?
